DESCRIPTION tractor manuals downunder manuals this is the Long UTB tractor
The engine installed in the wheel tractor models 360, 460 and 510, is a high speed

includes: Light alloy pistons with toroidal combustion chamber built in top, three
piston rings (two oil scrapers and one compression ring), forged steel connecting rods
and liners lubrication and a second one through the small end for piston cooling.

Caterpillar 2-Ton: A snippet

Caterpillar 2-Ton Tractor

“CATERPILLAR” 2-TON TRACTOR INAD THE 2-Ton, like the other models of the “Caterpillar” Tractor, is designed and built, not to meet a price, but to the highest standards of design, material and construction. All shafts and gears are of high grade steels. Clutch plates are of saw steel. Roller frames are steel castings. Throughout the tractor extensive use is made of anti-friction bearings.

The 2-Ton is built entirely in the “Caterpillar” plants—in the most modern, well-equipped factories, by skilled workmen. Rigid inspection is made, not only of the finished tractor and of the work in various stages of its progress, but also of the raw materials. Among the 2-Ton’s foremost features is its wide range of utility. It is small enough to work almost anywhere—only 58 inches high and 52 inches wide.

Its three forward speeds adapt it for a great variety of operations. Its liberal power enables it to do subsoiling, chiseling and other heavy work that is beyond the limits of the ordinary small tractor’s capacity. Another of the 2-Ton’s features is the simplicity of its unit construction. There are but three units to the entire machine….

Chamberlain manuals by Don

Quite often I get requests for wsm`s for the Chamberlain C670 & the C6100. Personally over the last 20 yrs I have yet to see a paper wsm for these tractors.i think this is because by this time JD owned Chamberlain industries, Knowing JD as I do , its not surprising to me that there never were paper wsm`s for these 2 tractors, There were manuals on micro fiche for dealers, but I never managed to find a method to digitize such manuals. But all is not lost …Again just a personal view, I think both tractors were cobbled together to use up the parts Chamberlain industries had on hand Both the 70& the 100 are much the same , based on the Chamberlain 306 & the 354 tractors ,You could say the C670 is an update of the Chamberlain 306 & the C6100 is the update of the Chamberlain 354. The 70 having the Perkins 306 engine and the 100 the Perkins 354 engine. So if you want to work on the 70 or the 100, then use manuals for the 306 or the 354… hope this helps someone
